Suggestions for January Book Club!

I know like it seems like we are skipping a bit here, but we couldn't remember if/what we decided for JANUARY'S book club. Please respond to the following POLL before December 1! (list book suggestions, etc in the COMMENTS section)

Should we do a bring-a-friend January book club? If so, what are your ideas? If not, what book do you suggest?

Book Suggestions

I wanted to add some suggestions so I don't forget to share them at the next meeting!

Bri, Court and I saw a new Audrey Niffenegger book at the store today (she wrote the Time Traveler's Wife). It's called Her Fearful Symmetry and it looks very intriguing!

The other one was suggested to me by a coworker. It's called The Glass Castle and is a memoir.

Happy reading. :)

A little genre diversity?

so I was talking to my sister the other day about her book club and she mentioned that they may be reading a play next month. and i thought - man- with all of our quests for new and exciting book ideas, the thought of reading a play has never struck me (oddly enough). so this is just throwing it out there - if you have a play or book of poetry that you'd recommend, suggest that bad boy at the next meeting.
