A little genre diversity?

so I was talking to my sister the other day about her book club and she mentioned that they may be reading a play next month. and i thought - man- with all of our quests for new and exciting book ideas, the thought of reading a play has never struck me (oddly enough). so this is just throwing it out there - if you have a play or book of poetry that you'd recommend, suggest that bad boy at the next meeting.

October Book

"The Devil in the White City"

We have a blog!

Hello, fellow book-clubbers!

The idea was brought up at book club last night to create a blog as an additional forum to present ideas, post information and note the delicious reads we have had over the past two years and the ones we will have in the future. In the first official post, I thought it'd be fun to archive our accomplishments to date .

To encourage lots of activity from the onset, feel free to comment on the following:

  1. What was your favorite?
  2. How many have you actually read?
  3. Which was the biggest surprise (and if you feel like it, why)?
